I'm inordinately fond of this pic, enough that I went back and finished it up with shading and whatnot though I hadn't been intending to.

Because a 'shippy pic was too obvious for the theme, I had to do something else. A friendship pic is more my idea of love. Was trying to think of what to do when the 'Nim wandered over and decided to cuddle up.

Optimus must be the biggest cat person. It's the only reason I can think of why he keeps Cheetor. ;) The fact that his cat is currently wearing the form of a young man changes nothing.

Cheetor is more useful than 'Nim, but 'Nim is snugglier. ;)

Other Vengeance, TFs-as-humans, kitties need their scritchies.

[ETA:] Tweaked a bit to make it look sunnier. ( Did not redo the shadows, because that is more work than I'm going to do here. But I promise to be more careful with my light sources in the future. ;) )

The shading looks beautiful, and it deepens the expression somehow. I'm getting inordinately fond of this pic too. :)

I think I preferred the flat-shaded one. The shading in this one is all over the place. Like for instance, the light source shining on Optimus' torso is clearly from the right, but on the inside of his left leg, it looks like it's shining from the left. Also on Cheetor, some parts looks like the light is from the back-right, while others looks like from the front-right.

Heh, yeah, still trying to master the art of Not Bouncing My Light Sources All Over The Darn Place, me. Is it just the highlights that are off or are the shadows off as well? But the pencil shading in the flat version was all right? Or were there issues with that?

Wow, even as a human Optimus has quite the fur coat! ;) He's looks like he's scratching Cheetor's ear, so cute, LOL. :giggle:
