Y'KNOW , I WAS JUST RE-READING THIS ARC AGAIN WHEN I SUDDENLY REALISED SOMETHING THAT MIGHT BE IMPORTANT LATER-ON ; 
ALTHOUGH "TAL" CAN't DO ANYTHING OF A GENETIC-NATURE TO HIMSELF , THERE's NOTHING TO SAY THAT HIS MOTHER CAN't FOLLOW GILOU's SUGGESTION & GET HELP IN ORDER TO CONCEIVE & CARRY WITHOUT THE DANGER OF HER LOOSING HER LIFE OR SUFFERING A POSSIBLE MISCARRIAGE .
FROM THE WAY THAT YOU DESCRIBE TAL's FAMILY , DESPITE THE FEMALE's BEING SOMEWHAT SUBMISSIVE TO THEIR PRE-ARRANGED SPOUSES , (or at least that's the impression that i've been getting,i could still be extremely wrong about that!) 
{& i openly admit that i'm only just going-off on a tangent of my own here,i've got 'N.O' idea what i'm actually talking about,this is "YOUR" show my friend,not mine!} 
I've KIND'a GOT THE IMPRESSION THAT SHE WOULD DO IT JUST TO GET WHAT LITTLE STATUS-ORIENTED , PSYCHOLOGICALLY-BASED REVENGE THEIR SOCIETY MAY OR MAY NOT AFFORD TO HER ! KIND'a LIKE JUST BASICALLY "STICKING IT" TO THE CALLUS , UNCARING , JERK-FILLED FAMILY THAT SHE WAS FORCED TO MARRY INTO , AGAINST WHATEVER WILL SHE MAY OR MAY NOT OF HAD AT THE TIME !
