You know what's funny?? Everybody makes the same mistake as you in this comic... i'm not saying that it's bad, it's freakin hillarious, i love Waspy, but the drone Ants and Bees/wasps/hornets are genderless. They're unable to reproduce and they're infertile. There are the male and female types, i mean, the queen and her harem of males, which are thrown out after they fertile her... So those kinds of the swarm insects come in three different, genders, and one of them is kinda genderless XD

SO Waspy should be genderless XD whole and whole XD if i remember correctly, then only hornet's swarm doesn't get rid of the males, cuz the male's are hunting alongside with the drones ( although i'm not even sure if they have drones) and some of the other males protect the hive and the queen.
