Why? Why not? Sometimes, you just want to draw something pretty.

I'd been meaning to draw a nice Waspinator for a while. He's got great colours. So I did a doodle whilst waiting for a take-out order and it became this.

It's pretty. However, it looks like a wedding invitation. :lol:

Waspinator, each wing, and a mess of those cherry blossoms were pencilled, inked, scanned, and coloured seperately. The cherry blossoms were copied and pasted several dozen times to get the mass of them. The ring was done entirely in Photoshop. The clouds were from a photograph.

it rocks, I love how you draw waspi! And yeah, it does kinda look like a wedding invitation...or some other kind of stationary...but it's still rocks!

Hey, he's almost in the same position as Arty! *gets whapped by various demons.* Okay, I wouldn't have said it if I wasn't looking right at my picture. :P

Okay, silliness aside, it does look like a wedding invite...just that Brian wouldn't let me have any transformers on them. ;) Hey, I said silliness aside! Damn this Red Bull...anyway, excellent colour and composition, as always. ^_^ And yes, the wings are pretty-pretty. ^_^

This came out nice. Colors blend well and the clouds are good for this.

Hee-hee. I just thought of keeping this and using it for something sweet. Like a B-card for my lil sister's first birthday. *Smiles as the thought* That's cute.

Actually, moreso than a wedding invite, it looks to me like something from a baby shower... something about his content little face and the position of the hands. Yes, I'm strange... but that's what it looked like to me. He's all so cute, bright and shiny ^^
