Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

For all two of you waiting for the update.

  For those of you who just came in, Other Vengeance is a Beast Wars based Transformers-as-Humans story.  This means that after reading that sentence, you've either said, "Oh, god, not another one," or "Give link naow!"  For those of you who want the link:

  For those of you who don't, we have plenty of other fics.  And if you don't like those, you have a whole Internet to hunt through to find something you do like. ^_^

  There's an FAQ now.  It hasn't got Vector Prime complaining about trademark retention, but it does have answers to frequently asked questions.

I finally got around to reading this story - your associated art pieces intrigued me. Interesting - I like how you're handling the characterizations and the different reactions.

Also, the "If I'm injured and you're insane, who will lead?" line was gold

I am totally going to re-read that and send a thoughtful email once I'm done re-rooting this doll (it's somewhere between tedium and zen), but I kept getting this weird clicking as I read through the chapter, like I'd clicked on something or an ad was refreshing itself. Granted, I use IE cos I'm too lazy to learn to use anything else, but is that something your new webhost does? I didn't notice it on the front page or the 'latest comic' page.

As far as I can tell, that flicker isn't anything bad. The new host also uploads pictures a bit at a time, instead of waiting a few seconds and putting it up complete like the old host did.
