It's only mostly red in here.  It'd be even harder to find your way around if there wasn't at least some variation in the decor.

Start from the beginning of this arc.

I'm waiting for the "And I thought MY family had problems" moment between Tal and Gilou, mostly because I want to see how someone who has spent most of her life caring for shape-shifting, morally ambivalent, asexual space-critters and whose family solves problems by throwing people out windows would handle an emotionally repressed, socially awkward family dinner ... with cats.  :-D

Also, I know I have said this before, but I want to say it again.  Thank you, Wayward, for sharing this story with us.

Why can't they just call each other? Or has it just been a few minutes in-story and they'll get to it eventually?

I think the last box needs a comma.

Where in?  It looks fine to me but I could totally be overlooking where I ought to be putting a comma.

"Maybe if the grandfathers are still in the parlour, I can convince one of them to tell me." vs "Maybe if the grandfathers are still in the parlour I can convince one of them to tell me."

I forsee arguments and possibly someone getting severely scolded, or at the very least, TOLD, in a quiet, stern voice.
